ISO 15919

What a marvelous geeky world: ISO 15919 is a standard for transliterating Indic scripts into the Latin alphabet. It's devanagari portions are similar to IAST (International Alphabet of Sanskrit Transliteration). Of course, with Unicode, it shouldn't matter.

    I like any organization that has a Central Secretariat. Reminds me of bureaucracy at its best, like the Comintern. And secretariat, like secretary, comes from the Latin for secret as in one entrusted with such.
